Children's Ministry
The children’s ministry at Rosemont Baptist Church exists to glorify God through the proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ and the spiritual strengthening of children. We desire to be used by God to build up the next generation of Christians to lead the church and take the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Raising the next generation of Christians is important and significant; at Rosemont we take that mission seriously. Our volunteers and staff are carefully selected and well-trained men and women who love God and enjoy sharing the love of Jesus Christ with children. We seek to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all children so that there are no hindrances as they learn the Gospel and grow in their faith.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training up in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work” (ESV). The Bible is the foundation of our curriculum and the source of our messages to children. We help children learn, understand, and apply God’s Word to their life.
Our children’s ministry currently includes Sunday school at 9:15 a.m., children’s church for pre-K - 5th grade, AWANA Clubs on Wednesday nights for ages 3-12, Vacation Bible School for 4 years old to 6th grade in the summer and other activities throughout the year. On the first Sunday of the month, children join their families in the sanctuary during the sermon. All other Sundays we provide children’s church during the sermon. We offer a nursery and childcare for children under the age of four during Sunday school and Sunday morning church service.
