Welcome to Rosemont Baptist Church. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:

Atmosphere

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. Our church family is a friendly group and you will probably have the opportunity to meet some of them. You will find people dressed comfortably and casually - we want everyone to come as they are.

The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We sing a variety of styles of songs and a relevant message from the Scriptures is preached by our pastor. We work hard to create a worshipful experience in anticipation of an encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Family Friendly

No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at Rosemont Baptist and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. Your children will receive real spiritual training from a group of caring leaders during this time.

For families with younger children, we have a nursery which is led by our paid nursery director and staffed by volunteers who have been interviewed by our church’s leadership and have successfully cleared a criminal background check. We also have children’s church for those children 4 years old through 9 years old led by our Children and Youth Minister and other volunteers who have been approved by our leadership and passed a criminal background check. Children sit with their parents until right before the sermon when they are released for Children's Church. However, children are welcome to stay with their parents if that is preferred.

Biblical Teaching

Here at Rosemont Baptist, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.

On Sunday morning, we have small group Bible studies for children through adult at 9:15 am. After Bible study, we have a time of snacks and conversation where people can get to know each other. Many visitors have told us they enjoy this time. Worship starts at 10:45 am and ends around noon.

Sermon

From the pulpit you will hear sound expository preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed. Pastor Rolland preaches from Scriptures, teaches the principles found in the text, and applies those principles to everyday life. Through expository preaching and story telling, each person is challenged to respond to how God is moving in their heart and life. Click here to hear a sample of Pastor Rolland's sermons.
