Who is Your One?
That is the question we asked ourselves. What would it look like if each person at Rosemont committed to reach one person over the next year? We think if we had that type of commitment, over the course of a year we would become a contagious church, a church full of harvesters, a church that is becoming a stronger community and making our community stronger. We envision being a vibrant church that is sharing our lives with others. We envision entire families transformed because they each have come to Jesus. We see men, women, and children individually experience personal transformation and freedom from addiction, depression, and other spiritual strongholds. We envision a church living out Romans 12:9-13: a church devoted to one another, giving preference to one another, fervent in spirit, rejoicing in hope, devoted to prayer, practicing hospitality and more.
We believe this can happen through the power of "ONE". So we challenged 40% of our church to be actively involved in " Who's Your One?" We envisioned 4 out of every 10 people at Rosemont in 2020 to be able to name at least one person who does not know the life-changing power of Jesus Christ and to commit to pray for that one, reaching out to their one, and, when the opportunity presents itself, share the gospel with their one. We had a great response and we are looking forward to what God will do through this work.
