About Rosemont Baptist

Rosemont Baptist Church has been ministering to the people of Montrose, Colorado since 1959. The church was started by a group of people whose heart’s desire was to “Turn Montrose around for Jesus” and so named our church Rosemont Baptist Church. Since then, we have been actively reaching out to our community, state, country and world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is to “passionately bring people face-to-face with the life changing power of Jesus Christ” (click here for more information about our mission and vision). That means we are not about a building or some complicated religious system, but our hearts burn with the desire to help people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ!

We invite you to come and check us out this weekend at our worship service. We know that going to a new church can be intimidating, so we try to do things in a way where you will feel welcome and not like an outsider (Click here for more information about What to Expect when you visit Rosemont the first time). When you come, you can participate or just sit back and observe. You will discover a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God's Word, and lots of friendly people pursuing God together.
